About the Book

Elliott is a happy eight-year-old boy from a bi-racial family, which opens the door for many challenging experiences and opportunities to learn about himself and the world. The authors wanted to make the first book in the series a light and fun learning experience, in order to introduce Elliott to the world.

The creators of the Elliott series teach their children that families come in all different shapes, sizes and colors and that families consist of many different dynamics that come down to one simple thing: love. Whether it be through adoption or biological, there is no difference. There is just love and family is family, no matter how it comes together or whom it includes.

In future installments Elliott will embark on many different adventures. Some will make you smile and some will make you cry, but all will make you realize that we all have a lot to learn and we can start learning right here from a cute little eight year old boy named Elliott. This is one adventure you won't want to miss. So come with us now as we share with you The Adventures of Elliott Parks.

We wanted to make Book 2 very special. In Book 2, The Adventures of Elliott Parks: Welcome Kim Lee!, “Elliott” learns about adoption when his extended family enters into an international adoption.
